Bearings and Bearing Related Products

We stock most major brands of bearings including NMB, NHBB, NDH, NSK, NTN, SKF, MPB, Barden, FAG, Timken, Torrington, Fafnir and many more. We also supply and manufacture mating parts for bearings and complete bearing assemblies.

Miniature & Instrument Ball Bearings, Inch & Metric - Single row ball bearings bore sizes vary from .0400 through .7500 inches . Minaiture Bearings can carry moderate radial and thrust loads at low operating torque and provide high performance within a small envelope design. Inch & Metric series bearings are available in both stainless steel and chrome steel and come in open, sealed and shielded configurations. They are available flanged or unflanged.

Radial Ball Bearings - A radial ball bearing uses axially symmetric inner and outer races that are shaped so a radial load passes radially through the bearing. Most radial designs also support modest axial loads. We stock a full line of Radial "R" series, 6000, 6200, 6300, 600 & 1600 series.

Angular Contact Ball Bearings - An angular contact ball bearing uses axially asymmetric races. An angular load passes in a straight line through the bearing, whereas a radial load takes an oblique path that tends to separate the races axially. So the angle of contact on the inner race is the same as that on the outer race. Angular contact bearings allow 'combined loads' (loading in both the radial and axial directions) and the contact angle of the bearing should be matched to the relative proportions of each. The larger the contact angle (typically in the range 10 to 45 degrees), the higher the axial load supported, but the lower the radial load. In high speed applications, such as turbines, jet engines, dentistry equipment, the centrifugal forces generated by the balls will change the contact angle at the inner and outer race. Ceramics such as silicon nitride are now regularly used in such applications due to its low density (40% of steel - and so significantly reduced centrifugal force), its ability to function in high temperature environments, and the fact that it tends to wear in a similar way to bearing steel (rather than cracking or shattering like glass or porcelain).

Rod End & Sperical Bearings - A spherical bearing is a bearing that permits angular rotation about a central point in two orthogonal directions within a specified angular limit based on the bearing geometry. Typically these bearings support a rotating shaft in the [bore] of the inner ring that must move not only rotationally, as most shafts, but also at angle. Spherical bearings permit freedom of rotation on the two axes that are NOT parallel with the shaft axis (although some bearings do permit this also).

Thin Section Bearings - Thin Section Bearing bores sizes range from 1-inch bore to 35-inch bore, with Specials upon request. Angular, radial and four-point contact types in stock.

Airframe/Aerospace Bearings - We stock a full line aerospace bearings including MS and Boeing approved. KP-A, KP-B, B500, KP-BS and many series. Preservation and Packaging per MIL-B-197 and MIL-P-116 available. We can custom lubricate and package to your requirements in our Government Certified Class 1000 Clean Room, one of the most advanced in our industry today.

Roller, Needle & Thrust Bearings- Common roller bearings use cylinders of slightly greater length than diameter. Roller bearings typically have higher radial load capacity than ball bearings, but a low axial capacity and higher friction under axial loads. If the inner and outer races are misaligned, the bearing capacity often drops quickly compared to either a ball bearing or a spherical roller bearing. - Roller bearings are the earliest known type of rolling-element-bearing, dating back to at least 40 BC.

Bushings - We carry Oiless Bronze and Steel Back Bushings

Compnents - We can cross reference BERG, StockDrives, and PIC. Component Products include, Timing Pulleys and Belts, Precision Ground Shafting, Shims, Spacers, Retaining Rings, Couplings, Sprockets, Bushings, Dowel pins, Oil Seals

Lubricants - Over 400 Lubricants in stock including a Full line of MIL-SPEC, Krytox and Braycote Vaccum Greases, Food Grade, and many other type of lubricants to meet your critical lube requiremnts. We measure and certify to as little as 1/2 millligram of grease. GreasePlating for low torque applications available.

Skateboard Bearings and Equipment - We make the fastest, lowest torque skateboard bearings in the world. RocknRon's Rockets, now called RocknRon's Ballistech Rockets, has set a new standard in skate bearing performance. The Ballistech Missle Bearings are being released 2/5/07.
